  • i use xanga as a means of communication and having
    other people get to know me and what i’m thinking. i don’t express
    myself the way i want to a lot in real life, so having a xanga shows my friends that, “hey, she’s not that psychotic person i thought she was.”
    haha, then again, sometimes my psychotic personality does show. ;)

  • I enjoy getting good and bad comments on my works and seeing how
    creative I can make my site. I’m doing this for myself, not to find
    friends or annoy innocent bystanders, but just to find out if what I do has any value to the average joe.

  • It’s a venue for venting, self-reflection, self-motivation, and self-promotion.


    It also allows for the user to control his/her image and allows one the ability to control exposure…


    Thus endowing users a sense of control and security in a world that lacks just that.
