  • one of my dongsengs introduced me to it and he said “noona, i warn you, it’s
very addicting.” i thought “how addicting can this be? i don’t get it.” waddaya
know. i’ve been with xanga for 3 years nearing 4 now and i haven’t stopped since
    i started.
i’m still amazed at how much xanga has affected my life and those
around me as well. it’s just a simple website and yet its workings in all of our
lives are incredible. i met my bf, a very good friend and many other good (as
well as bad) people whom i’ve known in the past and lost touch or whom i met for
the first time all through xanga.
i mostly xanga for therapeutic reasons,
writing away all the negativity in my life so unfortunately to my subscribers my
xanga is usually dark and depressing. other than that, i’ve experienced the broadening of my horizon through
xanga. i’ve learned so much! and i’m thankful for it. =)

  • I started my xanga for fun. I always had a website before where I wrote stupid ramblin’ shit while maintaining the site …now I can still write stupid ramblin’ shit and not even bother maintaining!!!!

Isn’t that awesome?? Its like convenience was packaged for me in a box of Xanga!!

So yeah, I had some great moments earlier in Xanga — it seemed my objective was to be the most read site (yeah, top 50 back in those days), then it became that I wanted to meet people, finally, now I just write shit for myself – sort of like a journal so that 20 years from now, I can look back and think ” gee, that was fucking stupid of me”….

On the other hand, it also helps relieve all this pile of festering stress inside of me…

    Regards,
    A Xanga-zen

  • are you for real?
